Vicki comes to Innovative Learning with over 25 years in the human services sector. Highlighted experiences prior to Innovative-Learning.com include Behavior support manager for community support services and Director of Quality Management for a state-wide provider of child and adult residential and support services.

Kevin McCalley is a web developer and technologist from Cayucos, CA. Kevin maintains the Innovative Learning and Project Optimal websites, and offers recommendations for website and LMS enhancements. Kevin graduated with a degree in English Literature from the University of California at Berkeley in 1994. During his spare time, Kevin enjoys surfing, painting and photography.

Shannon attended Boise State University and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a minor in Drug and Alcohol studies, graduating with recognition on the Dean's List. As she continued working with children, families and professionals, Shannon attended Antioch University where she received her Master's of Clinical Psychology in 1994. Immediately following graduate school Shannon rigorously pursued her internship hours and became licensed as a Marriage Family Therapist in 2002.
While working at a comprehensive residential treatment center, Shannon began private practice, providing treatment, consultation and training to families, public schools and group interests. The focus of that work was to provide parents, teachers and case managers with the tools they needed to successfully challenge difficult behaviors and to develop the skills they needed to be successful without relying on socially ineffective or inappropriate behavior.

Courtney comes to Innovative Learning with editing, writing, and proofreading experience for several technical journals. She has a degree in Civil Engineering and worked for many years for a large Environmental Engineering firm. In addition to her work at Innovative Learning she continues to do engineering as a private consultant.

Jo has worked with Innovative Learning since August, 2007. During this time she has completed her post-graduate study in geography and Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education. Jo has also completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Geography, all at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand.
Jo is interested in Business Studies, and in 2001 won the New Zealand Fletcher Challenge Young Enterprise Company of the Year Award. She successfully ran her own business for a number of years after competing in the Young Enterprise Scheme. Jo also achieved Distinction in Trinity College of London Effective Communication Grade 8, receiving the highest overall mark in her region. Jo has had experience working in the Human Services industry, as well as working with students with special needs during her teacher training programme. This has helped Jo to develop an interest in these areas, and bring her experiences into online course development.

Diana serves as our main Administrator for Innovative Learning and support our Californa Office. Diana comes from a strong business and legal background in civil litigation. Diana has owned a jewelry design business for the past 15 years and has pieces in collections in Texas, Colorado, California and Arizona.

Melody graduated from Texas A&M University and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in Anthropology in 2003. She achieved recognition by being invited to join the Golden Key International Honour Society and for being on the Dean’s List. Her active involvement in a variety of organizations, her family background, and her extensive travels have all contributed to passion for psychology.
After graduation, Melody moved to Santa Barbara to attend Antioch University. She received her Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology in 2005. While in Santa Barbara she completed her internship working in three different settings. She worked as a manager and a counselor at the Phoenix of Santa Barbara, a psychosocial rehabilitation treatment center for adults dealing with substance abuse and severe mental health issues. She volunteered in the counseling center at Girls Incorporated as a child therapist and as the Counseling Center Coordinator. Melody also worked as the high school therapist working with a variety of adolescent issues in Carpinteria. Melody now resides in Westlake Village working in private practice at the Ludington Institute for Family Enrichment.

After many years living in Gaelic-speaking Conamara in the West of Ireland and running her own business, Amanda is now living in Poznan in Poland, where her husband teaches. She provides teaching assistance in Celtic languages at Adam Mickiewicz University. Amanda has a background in Rural Development and an MSc in Public Health. Her thesis focussed on barriers to training in not-for-profit organizations. Amanda also works as a freelance writer on the internet, writing comparative reports on Public Health in the European Union, with a focus on gender issues and women's health.
