Chronic high levels of support staff turnover, insufficient training, limited educational and career opportunity, and poor wages are issues that continue to challenge the human service sector worldwide. Innovative Learning is committed to strengthening the quality of support services by training and educating the direct support workforce in effective ways.
In an effort to address these issues, Innovative Learning has partnered with several organizations including Capital District D- New York and the National Association of Residential Providers for Adults with Autism (NARPAA) to improve performance and better ensure improved outcomes. We provide workforce development compliance as well as cost effective orientation and occupational health and safety education in accessible, cost effective ways.

Innovative Learning’s services can incorporate both online and offline activities for those aspects of staff development that require a face to face component. However, all seminar components of development are followed by an effective online evaluation process so as to integrate with the overall model and ensure effectiveness.
Innovative Learning is a supporting Organization of the National Alliance of Direct Support Professionals and is dedicated to advancing the interests of DSPs and the people their support.

Innovative Learning is in the second phase of the accreditation process to seek approval of our training and educational programs for the NADSP three tiered credentialing program. We anticipate provisional accreditation winter 2008.
